1. Introduction

PixelsCleared ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website pixelscleared.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our service.

2. Data We Collect

PixelsCleared collects technical website tracking data for the purpose of producing scan reports. We do not collect the personal information of your website visitors.

  • Website scan data: domains, URLs, tracker requests, screenshots, HAR files, cookies detected during scans
  • Account data: email, name, company name
  • Billing data: payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store card numbers)
  • Contact data: emails and messages sent through our contact form

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To produce and deliver scan reports
  • To operate and improve our service
  • To communicate with you about your account and scans
  • To process payments through Stripe

4. Report Storage and Retention

Scan reports and associated evidence (screenshots, HAR files, network logs) are stored for the duration of your account plus 90 days. You may request deletion of your scan data at any time by contacting us.

5. Website Analytics

PixelsCleared uses self-hosted, privacy-focused analytics (Umami) to understand how visitors use our website. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel, session replay, or heatmap tools on our site.

Our analytics are used only to measure basic website activity such as page views, referrers, and button clicks. We do not use analytics to collect form contents, scan results, report data, or personal information submitted by users. Our analytics software is hosted on our own infrastructure and does not share data with third parties.

We practice what we audit: PixelsCleared does not use ad pixels, retargeting scripts, session replay, heatmaps, or third-party behavioral tracking on this site.

6. Advertising and Attribution

We may run advertisements on platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn. When you click one of our ads, standard UTM parameters and platform click identifiers (such as fbclid or li_fat_id) may be included in the landing page URL. We capture these identifiers server-side for campaign attribution purposes only.

We do not install browser-based ad pixels on our website. We do not send scanned domain names, report results, form contents, email addresses, phone numbers, or customer findings to advertising platforms. Server-side conversion events sent to ad platforms contain only generic event names (such as “free scan started” or “purchase completed”) and no personal data.

7. Cookies We Set

PixelsCleared uses minimal cookies on its own site: a session cookie for authentication and a consent preference cookie. Our analytics software does not use cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Third-Party Subprocessors

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Supabase — authentication
  • Infrastructure provider — hosting and database

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@pixelscleared.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are accessing our service from the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us for more information.
